Unfortunately there are proper rules so we will have to brush up and abide by them or, as John reckons, concede a large number of penalties against us!
Stockton on Tees Friday 16th July – 6pm
Sunday 18th July – 6pm
Let Dave know if you want to be part of the winning team.
The cost to paddle on a Thursday night has not increased for the last 3 years, despite an increase in pool hire.
Unfortunately the cost to hire the pool is due to double from the 1st April 2010. In an effort to keep the session fees low but still cover the pool hire under 16’s will be charged £3.50 and adults £4.50 per session. Adults who paddle in both the first and second sessions will be asked to pay an additional £1.50 per person.
This pricing structure will be reviewed in 3 months time and as always it will be dependant on numbers. The future of the canoeing sessions rely on your continued support.
The river is slow flowing cutting through beautiful countryside. Children are more than welcome and will enjoy the open boating on offer. Symonds Yat can provide a bit of faster flowing fun for a little playboating, or swimming once we get the opens on there Continue reading River Wye Family paddle
Super short ‘air’ boats make it hard to perform traditional play moves since a short boat isn’t very stable when vertical. Long slicey boats are stable in vertical moves but you can’t catch any air. Now you can have the best of both worlds in one kayak. Each Transformer comes with 3 sets of interchangeable tips – 5/8″ bumpers, 5″ slicey tips and 8″ slicey tips. In seconds you can switch from poppy air boat performance to long slicey boat performance.
With our trip resulting in a grand total of ZERO photos, Dave W found some of us on the net and linked them to the facebook page, I have just seen them and so have added them here.
